Praia, March 20 (Inforpress) - The Union of Exporters of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) wants to add Cabo Verde in the  Sport CPLP Project  aiming at hosting 10.000 young students who constitute the student population through the practice of football, athletics and basketball.

It is a project that is being developed in some countries of this Portuguese-speaking community, started three years ago in Mozambique, where it already has six million young people and was presented this morning to the Minister of Sport, Fernando Elisio Freire.

According to the president of the Union of Exporters of the CPLP, Mario Costa, the Sport CPLP project is based on schools, as a link for the massification of sport through Physical Education classes so that all young people, in this case Cabo Verdians, practice sports.

The Sport CPLP project according to its leader, involves the development of young people through sport, aiming to capture the attention of young people to problems such as hygiene, citizenship and early pregnancy.
